Challenge:

  1. Production waste – diverse in type, texture, purpose and in varying quantities
  2. Lack of reproducibility of redundant materials
  3. The client’s concern for the lowest possible percentage of waste while cyclical management for those arising

For this project, we had the following client materials at our disposal:

Office supplies of various types and uses ( both paper, vinyl and plastic)

Implementation:

  1. The overriding value of the project: the use of emerging waste
  2. Goal: to combine the use of waste with the company’s local activities
  3. Project assumptions:
    – To undertake activities aimed at the local community
    – Nature of activities to share events with other companies (sister companies in the group)
    – Carry out activities aimed (also with a long-term effect) at hiring employees
  4. proposal presented:

Workshops with children of current and potential employees conducted in elementary schools surrounding the company using available materials

Results:

Building a positive image and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by spreading knowledge and awareness of the value of the 3R(Reduce Reuse Recycle) idea among the youngest.

Reducing waste and lowering disposal costs – using materials in creative ways reduces the amount of waste which at the same time leads to a lower cost of disposal.

Education and future generations of conscious consumers – through workshops, engagement, the company teaches children the principles of recycling, upcycling and ecology, which can influence the formation of future generations of more environmentally conscious customers and employees.
